Made with Free Spirits Non-Alcoholic Tequila and DHOS Non-Alcoholic Orange Liqueur, this version has the same complexity you’d expect from a proper margarita. Add in a hit of lime, a drizzle of maple syrup, and those hot pepper bitters, and you’ve got yourself a zero-proof drink that slaps—no tequila required.
Ingredients (serves 1)
- 1.5 oz Free Spirits Non-Alcoholic Tequila
- 1 oz DHOS Non-Alcoholic Orange Liqueur
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ¼ oz maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- 2–3 dashes Dillon’s Hot Pepper Bitters (optional - if you are sober omit this)
- Ice
- Lime wedge, for garnish
- Salt, for rimming the glass (I love using Himilayan Salt or Tajin)
Instructions
1. Rim the Glass
Run a lime wedge along the rim of your glass and dip it into coarse salt. Set aside.
2. Shake the Mocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine:
- Free Spirits tequila
- DHOS orange liqueur
- Lime juice
- Maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- Hot pepper bitters
Add ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
3. Pour & Garnish
Fill your salt-rimmed glass with fresh ice and strain the mixture over top. Garnish with a lime wedge.
